The phone is connected to the computer via USB but is not visible as a storage device. Here is a simple solution to set it to make it work.
If you connect your mobile phone via USB to a Windows computer and the device doesn't appear in the connected storage devices list, the problem is probably in the MTP driver.
The solution is the following:
- View Device Manager and find the problematic device.
- Select “Browse for drivers on my computer”, add the path “C:\Windows\Inf”, select “Include subfolders”
- Right click button and select Update driver
- Click on “Choose from the list of available drivers on your computer” and select “ MTP USB”
- Click the “Next” button and Windows will install the correct driver for the MTP protocol
And it's done!
There's really no necessary to download or install any other software for updating drivers or optimizing Windows.
